I had booked a custom cake before arriving in Barcelona for a vacation. I stopped by a day before it was supposed to be ready, and they were preparing it. They didn't even ask for money up front. They trusted me. It was a small cake, admittedly. But they could have easily charged me in advance, because who knew I'd be back? When I went, not only were they very kind, but the cake was delicious. So, I recommend this pastry shop both for the service and the excellent quality of their cakes.

As a big fan of bread pudding and apple, I had to get one of those and I was intrigued by the crema catalan, and the owner told me to absolutely get it :) And I don’t regret it! The crema catalan is like a creme brulée with some soft sponge around, so the texture is creamy and a bit spongy, and of course milkey sweet 😍
